Gameday Playlist Vibes: Ron Harper Jr.

January 29, 2018

For many, music is a push factor against the demons of anxiety and nervousness before a competition. For others, a pre-game playlist is a "Secret sauce" used to stir up and release whatever is channeled within them in an effort to lead their team to victory.

Today we begin a new series titled "Gameday Playlist Vibes," which feature must-play pre-game songs from rising basketball stars in New Jersey. Next up is Don Bosco guard Ron Harper Jr. Enjoy the jams from the Rutgers commit below.

As told to by Christian Mordi / @thedribbledrop

 6ix9ine Ft. A-Boogie & Fetty Wap - KEKE

6ix 9ine and Fetty Wap are uptempo artists that get you hyped up and excited to play. A Boogie is more smooth and his voice and style of rap is soothing. So those three together make the perfect trio to make a song.

Drake - God’s Plan

God’s Plan released a little under a week ago and it just remind me that I have a lot of people that want me to fail. But it also reminds me that if I stick to Gods plan everything’s gonna workout.

Big Sean - Go Legend

I like this song simply because it focuses on the ultimate goal in life. And that’s to be a looked at as a legend in whatever you do when your done with it.

A Boogie Ft. PnB Rock & NBA Youngboy - Beast Mode

This song is probably one of my favorites because it just gets me hype for game time. Listening to it before bigger games really gets me going because It makes me wanna go out there and make the biggest impact that I can.

Lil Uzi Vert - Dark Queen

This song is a must on my playlist. It talks about family and how you have to work hard so you can provide for them in the future. To me that’s what this is all about, being able to eventually take care of my family.
