Why they’re on the list: The Crusaders put together a magical run last year. A large part of their success was due to Cortlyn Morris.
Morris was a jack-of-all-trades player for Bound Brook. The sensational athlete filled up the box score every night she graced the court. While she isn’t the most dynamic player offensively, Morris can dominate the game without putting the ball in the basket. In 2017, Morris blocked 10 or more shots three times. Her season high in blocks was an unreal 13 against South Hunterdon.
While Bound Brook has lost All Group 1 player Janeea Summers to graduation, Morris has the ability to make this team a contender yet again to win the group.
Stat to know: Morris is on pace to have 1,000 points, 500 rebounds and 500 blocks by the end of her high school career.
