Team analysis: One of the best kept secrets in 2017 was Johnson High. The Group 2 team possessed one of the most exciting offenses in the state. The Clark School played a rigorous out of conference schedule, matching up against Morris Catholic, Lincoln and St. Peter's Prep.
This year will be their true coming out party. The team has a stellar point guard transfer from St. Anthony's. They also return All Group 2 selection George Visconti. The senior showcased a versatile skill set, being opponents off the bounce and behind the arc when needed.
Chemistry won’t be an issue as the team is returning most of it’s rotation from last year. Look for Johnson to hit the ground running and make a deep run in the Group 2 tournament.
Stat to know: With a strong senior year, Visconti could crack 2,000 points for his career.
