Make no mistake about it, that definition describes Jahsyni Knight on the basketball court perfectly. When Knight has the ball in her hands, Rutgers Prep has one of the most prolific offenses in the state. The crafty guard can get anywhere to she likes on the floor and delivers pinpoint passes at the drop of a dime.
While The Argonauts have a loaded roster, it’s clear that Knight is the wildcard for this team. Leilani Correa is one of the most explosive players in the state, but Knight make the game easier for her and others. Defensively, Jahsyni is a relentless defender. The rugged defender controls the tempo of the game by putting endless pressure on the opposing point guard. Her defense ruins the flow and spacing of opposing offenses.
Now healthy and signed to the University of Pittsburgh, Knight can focus her energy on one thing: winning a championship her senior year at Rutgers Prep.
