Team analysis: The Prep had an amazing regular season, but ran out of gas as they loss a shocker to Don Bosco Prep Non Public A Final. SHP graduated a senior laden starting lineup last year, which included All-State guard T.J. Gibbs. With that being said, SHP does has solid pieces left on board in Treyvon Bennett and Austin Williams. Alex Imegwu suffered a tough injury last year, but has the potential to be a breakout junior this year due to his high motor and solid skill set.
How far this team goes will depend on how the rest of the lineup falls into place. You know the prep will be well prepared, but the lack of varsity experience may cost them early in the season as role players get caught up to speed. Look for this team to be playing their best basketball when it matters most: down the stretch.
