Player: Jamir Harris
Team: The Patrick School, ’17 / Minnesota University-commit
Stats: 10 points, 1.9 three pointers made per game in the 2015-2016 season.
What to expect: As the Patrick School prepares to turn the corner in 2017 as the team to beat in New Jersey, their designated sharpshooter Jamir Harris will play a critical role in their success. Coming off a stellar summer with the Patrick School which featured championships in both the Conrad McRae & Hamilton Park summer league, Jamir’s confidence is at an all-time high which spells good news for the Celtics and bad news for the competition.
Jamir’s talent is distinguished by his quickness and ability to shoot the ball. His textbook form and quick release make him almost impossible to guard on the perimeter when he gets hot. His ball handling, first step and ability make an equal threat 20 feet in. With Nick Richards demanding double teams on a nightly basis, we can expect a lot of kick out passes directed Jamir’s way.
Stat to know: Jamir scored 35 points in a win over St. Anthony’s in the Hamilton Park Summer League championship. He averages 2 3pm/g for his career.
