Record Last season: 25-6, 5-3 in conference play.
Key players: Tavon Jones, junior
Potential emerging stars: Khalief Crawford, senior;Joey Krempa, senior; Marcellus Livingston, senior
Team analysis: After making a run to the NJ State Championship game, Linden showed the state that they were one of the titans in Garden State High School Basketball.
Linden may not be a private school that has an active pool to players all over the state, but they do a great job developing talent in their backyard. Junior Tavon Jones was one of the breakout sophomores in the state. His stellar defense and strong defensive player has division one scouts drooling over his game.
After posting a 5-3 division record in the rigorous UCC Watchung division (which also fields The Patrick School and Roselle Catholic) with a lineup dominated by underclassmen, Linden has the potential to compete with The Patrick School for the title.
Linden is the cream of the crop in Group 4. It will be hard for anyone in that group, or the state for that matter to knock them off. Linden is primed for another deep TOC run this year.
Stat to know: With 470 points scored last year, Tavon Jones is on pace to break 1,000 points this year.
